A.J. Riley from men's basketball and Amina Jackson from women's track have been named the Back To Health EIU student-athletes of the week.

Riley scored the final eight points in overtime on Saturday at Austin Peay including the game winning lay-up wtih 0.3 seconds remaining as he finished with 18 points.  Riley was the Panthers leading scorer at Murray State on Thursday and has now scored in double figures in five straight games.  He has been to the free throw line 33 times in the last three games knocking down 26 as he ranks 9th in the OVC in free throws attempted this season.

Jackson helped the EIU women's track team win the home John Craft Invite on Saturday.  Jackson scored 28 points with a pair of first place finishes and one silver medal performance.  As an individual Jackson set the EIU Fieldhouse record for the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:02.32.  She placed second in the 400m dash.  As part of the 4x400m relay she ran the opening leg as EIU posted a time of 4:00.69.
