Jessica Wireman from softball and Bryn Buckwalter from women's track have been named the Back To Health EIU student-athletes of the week.

Wireman picked up three wins for the Panthers softball team during the opening weekend at Iowa State.  Wireman had two complete game shutouts against IUPUI and North Dakota while coming in for a relief win on Saturday.  She finished the weekend with ten strike outs. 

Buckwalter picked up a first place finish in the weight throw at the Grand Valley Big Meet while placing fifth in the shot put invite, which was third among collegiate competitors.  Her winning throw in the weight throw was 55'11.75" while her shot put distance was 47'4.25".
