Jessica Wireman from softball and Grace Summers from women's tennis have been named the Back To Health EIU student-athletes of the week.

Wireman was named the OVC Pitcher of the Week after posting a 4-0 record in the circle. She collected all three wins during the Panthers OVC opening sweep against UT Martin. Wireman had three complete games with 26 strike outs and a 1.32 ERA.

Summers helped the Panthers open the OVC portion of their schedule with a pair of wins at home. Summers won two points playing at number three singles, winning in straight sets. She played at number one doubles in both matches picking up wins.
