Haleigh Knapp from women's track and Alvaro Hernandez from men's golf have been named the Back To Health EIU student-athletes of the week.

Knapp set the school record in the high jump by winning the event at the Illinois State Redbird Invite last weekend.  Knapp cleared 5'10.50" to pass the previous school mark by three quarters of an inch.  The height ranks first in the Ohio Valley Conference this season and seventh in the NCAA West Regional and 14th in the NCAA this season.

Hernandez posted the Panthers first individual top ten finish this season as he placed 8th at the Western Illinois Beu Mussatto Invite over the weekend.  He closed the tournament with an even par 72 as EIU finished in seventh place as a team.  Hernandez leads the Panthers in scoring average this season and has been EIU's top finisher in seven out of eight tournaments.
