Davis Wegmann from men’s soccer and Maggie Runge from volleyball have been named the Back To Health EIU Student-Athletes of the Week.

Wegmann scored the Panthers first goal of the season as they opened the year with a 1-1 draw at Northern Kentucky.  Wegmann knocked home a penalty kick in the final two minutes of the first half after the teams had to wait out one of several weather delays on the night. 

Runge led the Panthers in both blocks and attack percentage over the weekend in action at the Green Bay Tournament.  Runge finished with 12 blocks in three matches while adding 13 kills.
