#Darren Patterson# is the Student-Athlete of the Week after helping the EIU 4x400 relay team break the school-record time that dated back to 1978. At the Iowa State NCAA Last Chance Meet, he also ran a personal-record time (21.73) in the 200-meter dash, which ranks seventh in school history. The OVC Indoor Track Male Athlete of the Year won the 200-meter dash at the conference championships this season.
