CHARLESTON, Ill. – Eastern Illinois director of athletics Barbara Burke has announced that Panthers head volleyball coach Alan Segal has resigned his position to pursue other professional opportunities.

Segal, who was hired in January 2009, led the Panthers to an 11-20 overall record and 4-13 mark in the Ohio Valley Conference.

Assistant coach Kate Price will run the day-to-day operations of the program until a replacement has been named.
