CHARLESTON, Ill. - Long time Charleston resident and former Eastern Illinois men's tennis coach Gerald "Dutch" Gossett passed on Saturday, August 28.  A 1959 graduate of EIU, Gossett was the swimming assistant coach from 1969-75.  He took over the head coaching tennis duties in 1975 holding that position until 1979.  His son Jeff would go on to be a NFL All-Pro Punter.
