CHARLESTON, Ill. – Eastern Illinois junior women's basketball forward Sabina Oroszova has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week by College Sports Madness website.  Oroszova led EIU with 38 points in their win last week over Bradley.  During the win Oroszova tied two school records with points in a game (38) and field goals made (16).  She also moved into fifth place on the Panthers career blocked shots list during the game.

This season Oroszova leads EIU in scoring and rebounding with 18.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.  She is the OVC leader with 18 blocked shots.  She has posted four double-doubles this season.

EIU returns to action on Monday, Dec. 16 at Southern Illinois with a 6 p.m. start.
