Radloff Second Half Goals Give EIU 3-1 Win

CHARLESTON, Ill. – Meagan Radloff scored a pair of second half goals as Eastern Illinois picked up a 3-1 Ohio Valley Conference win over Austin Peay on Sunday afternoon at Lakeside Field.  
 
EIU improved to 2-10-1, 1-3 in the OVC.   The Panthers will play at Tennessee Tech and Jacksonville State next weekend.   Austin Peay fell to 2-9, 1-2 in the OVC.
 
The Lady Govs scored in the opening minutes as Sophia Fabbro fed Gina Fabbro off a set piece just right of the goal box.   Gina Fabbro drove home the ball to far side of the net in the fourth minute for a 1-0 lead.
 
The Panthers answered six minutes later as Hannah Miller finished off a pass from Madison Carter.  Miller's shot beat the APSU goalkeeper to the far side of the net.
 
Radloff gave EIU its first lead of the contest two minutes into the second half as she finished off a pass from Allie Lakie.  Radloff scored off a set piece from 18 yards out as she connected on a quick pass from Lakie.
 
The final Radloff goal came in the 74th minute as EIU was awarded a penalty kick following a hand ball called in the goal box.   It was Radloff's second penalty kick goal this year.
 
EIU goalkeeper Emily Hinton finished with seven saves.   APSU goalkeeper Nikki Fillippone finished with four saves.
