GAME 4
Eastern Illinois will play at Cincinnati on Sunday evening in the opening game of the Emerald Coast Classic.   EIU will then travel to Creighton on Tuesday night with games in Florida over Thanksgiving weekend against North Carolina Central and either Northern Arizona or Southern University.   EIU fell to 1-2 on the season Thursday night dropping a home contest to UC Davis, 63-61.  Cincinnati improved to 2-0 win a win over OVC member Morehead State.

TRAE ANDERSON HAS BREAK THROUGH GAME
Junior college transfer Trae Anderson had a break through game Thursday night against UC Davis.   The 6-4 guard scored 16 points to go with nine rebounds and two assists.   Anderson was 5-of-7 from the free throw.   He now ranks second on the team in scoring with 9.7 points per game.  Anderson had six points in the season opener at Missouri State and added seven points in the home win over Eureka College. 

JOHNSTON AMONG ASSISTS LEADERS
Guard Cornell Johnston passed out seven assists on Thursday night giving the freshman 17 assists for the season.   He enters the weekend tied for 57th in the nation in assists per game at 5.7.  His assist-to-turnover ratio is better than 2-to-1 as he plays a team-high 31.7 minutes per game.   Johnston scored a season high 10 points against UC Davis as he is averaging 8.3 points per game.   He is in the top 100 in the nation in made 3-pointers having made 7-of-12.
