GAME 4
Eastern Illinois returns home to open a four-game home stand hosting Western Illinois on Saturday night.  The Panthers are coming off of back-to-back close road losses at Troy and Saint Louis.  EIU enters the weekend at 1-2.  Western Illinois is also 1-2 on the year after losing at home on Wednesday night to Ohio Valley Conference member Southeast Missouri.  This will be the first of two meetings between EIU and WIU this season.  The Panthers make a return trip to Macomb on Dec. 10.

DAMA LEADING OVC IN REBOUNDING
Muusa Dama pulled down 15 rebounds with ten coming in the first half on Thursday at Saint Louis.  It was the second straight double figure rebouding game for the junior college transfer as he leads the OVC in rebounding at 11.3 per game.  Dama had ten rebounds earlier this week at Troy and pulled down nine in the season opener against Saint Francis.  Dama became the first EIU player since Sherman Blanford in February of 2014 to pull down 15 or more rebounds in a game.  In addition to pulling down rebounds Dama has a team high six blocks and five steals.  He is tied for second in the OVC in blocks and seventh in the league in steals.

JOHNSTON ASSIST-TO-TURNOVER RATIO
Cornell Johnston returned to his native Saint Louis on Thursday night and posted 18 points with seven assists against the Billikens.  It was a season high in both categories for the junior guard as he now needs six assists to move into second place on the EIU career assists list.  For the season Johnston has passed out 14 assists with just one turnover.  Last season he led the OVC in assist-to-turnover ratio and right now ranks fourth in the league in that category.  Johnston added four 3-pointers as he ranks ninth on the Panthers career list with 127.
