Mitch Gasbarro provided much of the offensive support off the bench in the game at Lipscomb. The senior went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with a walk, while scoring two runs for the Panthers.

Joseph Duncan finished 2-for-4 at the plate at Lipscomb. The sophomore outfielder increased his current hitting streak to seven games. In that stretch he is hitting .429, going 12-for-28.

Cale Hennemann went 1-for-4 with a walk at Lipscomb. The sophomore infielder has reached base safely in 11-straight games. In that stretch, He has an on-base percentage of .438. Hennemann leads the Panthers with 20 hits on the season.Â

Matt Wivinis will start in game two on Saturday.
Brendon Allen will get the nod in the final game of the series on Sunday.
• Following their weekend series at Memphis, the EIU baseball team will return to Coaches Stadium for their home opener against Robert Morris-Chicago on Tuesday (Mar. 22).

Jason Anderson is in his 1st season as the Panthers skipper after being hired to take on the role in the summer of 2015. Anderson picked up the first win of his coaching career with a 10-8 victory over No.12 Arkansas in 12 innings on March 5, 2016.
