CHARLESTON, Ill. – Due to the expected rainfall that is supposed to hit Charleston later this afternoon, Today's baseball game at Coaches Stadium against Saint Louis has been cancelled. At this time, no makeup date has been scheduled for a game against Saint Louis.
After taking one out of three games in this past weekend in their OVC series against Belmont, the Panthers will look to host Indiana State in a single non-conference contest tomorrow at Coaches Stadium at 3 p.m. The Indiana State will be the final game in the Panthers' current homestand. The Panthers are an even 2-2 in the four games prior to the game tomorrow.
Eastern Illinois will take to the road again this weekend for a three-game Ohio Valley Conference series at Eastern Kentucky. The first game of the series is scheduled for a 6 p.m. (CST) first pitch on Friday.
