• Fans are asked to park in the "W" lot by the Methodist Church, South of the Rugby Field on the Eastern Illinois campus, on Saturday to allow for parking for the Spring Commencement ceremonies.

Nick Maton had one of his best series statistically this past weekend at Eastern Kentucky. The freshman shortstop collected six hits in the series out of 12 at-bats for a .500 batting average. He drove in one run and scored three runs.
•
Mitch Gasbarro had a big game offensively for the Panthers in the series finale at EKU. Gasbarro finished the game 4-for-5 at the plate, and drove in one run, while scoring two runs of his own.
• The Panthers will go with senior RHP
Brendon Allen in game one versus Morehead State on Friday. Redshirt-senior RHP
Matt Wivinis will start in game two on Saturday. At this time, the Panthers have not named a starter for the series finale on Sunday.
• Following their weekend series against Morehead State, Eastern Illinois will continue their homestand with a pair of midweek games at Cocahes Stadium. The Panthers will host Butler on Tuesday and have added a game to their schedule on Wednesday against Millikin. The Butler game is set for a 3 p.m. start and the Millikin game will start at 3:30 p.m.
• Eastern Illinois is playing its 110th season of intercollegiate baseball. EIU has an all-time record of 1,723 wins and 1,512 losses.  Head Coach
Jason Anderson is in his 1st season as the Panthers skipper after being hired to take on the role in the summer of 2015. Anderson picked up the first win of his coaching career with a 10-8 victory over No.12 Arkansas in 12 innings on March 5, 2016.
