FORT WAYNE – Eastern Illinois women's basketball fell 93-77 at Fort Wayne Friday night. The Panthers collected their seventh loss falling to 1-7.

The Panthers shot 48 percent from the field and committed only 10 turnovers in the game, but could not stop the hot shooting Mastodons. Fort Wayne finished the game shooting 70 percent from the field and 50 percent from behind the arc improving to 3-6 on the season.

Three panthers scored in double-figures tonight. Lennox scored a team-high 21 points on 8-of-20 from the field. She fell short of a double-double as she dished out eight assists in the game.
Jennifer Nehls tied her career-high with 17 points while
Grace McRae added 16 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

EIU grabbed 11 offensive boards converting them into 16 second-chance points. The Panthers also outscored the Mastodons in the paint 40-34. The bench scored 16 points led by
Halle Stull with five points.

Fort Wayne had five players scored in double-figures. De'Jour Young scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Hannah Albrecht added 18 points while Anna Lappenkuper scored 14. Kierstyn Repp and KeShyra McCarver had 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Panthers will return home on Dec. 18 to play Valparaiso. Tip-off set for 12 p.m.
