• EIU blasted seven home runs as a team in the win over UIS. The seven home runs marks the most in the game this season for the Panthers as
Joseph Duncan and

•
Michael Starcevich earned the win on the mound for the Panthers  against UIS as he allowed just one run in two innings pitched with a pair of strikeouts.
•
Jimmy Govern also finished the game with eight RBIs in yesterday's win over UIS at Coaches Stadium. The eight RBIs marked the first time a Panthers drove in six or more runs in a game since Brant Valach drove in seven runs during the 2015 season. Govern also extended his hitting streak to 12 games.
•
Matt Albert raised his total to 11 home runs this season as the junior transfer leads the team and is ranked third in the OVC in the category.
•
Jake Haberer will get the ball on Thursday for the Panthers. Haberer will be making his 10th appearance and fifth start of the season.
Michael McCormick is in line to start for the Panthers on Friday. McCormick will be making his ninth appearance of the season, all of which have been starts. At this time, EIU has not named a starter for the series finale on Saturday.Â
• Following their three-game conference series at Belmont this weekend, EIU will travel to Butler for a non-conference contest against the Bulldogs on Tuesday.
