CHARLESTON, Ill. - The Eastern Illinois softball team could only make it to the top of the third inning before the rain began to fall Wednesday afternoon. The severe weather forced the Panthers to cancel their scheduled doubleheader against IUPUI with no plans to reschedule the games.
This same storm system led to the cancellation of Thursday evening's game against Indiana State with the potential to altar EIU's weekend OVC slate.
