GAME 25
Eastern Illinois returns home to Lantz Arena with the Panthers on a two-game win streak after beating SIUE, 78-74, on the road Thursday night. EIU shot 57 percent in the win marking the second straight game the Panthers have connected on over 50 percent from the field.  EIU is now 9-15 overall, 5-8 in the OVC.  EIU is currently in seventh place in the OVC standings.   Austin Peay enters the weekend tied for third in the OVC race at 14-11 overall, 9-4 in the OVC.  APSU lost at Murray State on Thursday night.  APSU is 3-4 on the road in OVC play this season.

CROSSLAND BIG GAME
Senior Ray Crossland matched his season high with 17 points on Thursday night at SIUE.  Crossland was 6-of-10 from the field.  It was the sixth time this season that Crossland has scored in double figures with his previous high of 17 coming back in December at South Alabama.  In the game Crossland scored seven of the Panthers first eight points.  In addition he pulled down seven rebounds to match his season high which he has now tied five times this season.  

DAMA CLIMBS EIU RECORD BOOK
Muusa Dama climbed up one spot on the Eastern Illinois career blocked shots list on Thursday at SIUE as the senior had three blocks in the contest.  Dama now has 87 career blocks as he passed James Hollowell and moved into third place on the EIU list.  Kevin Duckworth (123) holds the school record with Eric Frankford (100) second on the career list.  This season Dama has 26 blocked shots which ranks 8th in the OVC this season.  In addition to moving up the blocked shots list on Thursday, Dama scored 17 points with 15 coming in the second half.  Dama now has 11 double figure games this season with a high of 21 points against Western Illinois.
