MURRAY, Ky. – Eastern Illinois women's soccer wrapped up its 2019 regular season schedule on Sunday afternoon with a 1-0 loss at Murray State.
The Panthers fell to 3-9-4 overall, 2-5-3 in the OVC. Murray State improved to 11-7 overall, 8-2 in the OVC.
EIU finished with six total shots in the match including two on goal by senior
Lexi Ketterhagen.
Murray State had 26 total shots as they pushed the tempo in the match. Eleven of the shots were on goal with Abby Jones finding the back of the net for the lone goal of the match in the 27th minute.
The field for the 2019 OVC Tournament will be set later this afternoon. EIU entered the final day of the season in eighth place as the top eight teams qualify for the post season.
