GREEN BAY, WI - The Panthers lose their final match of the regular season to the Green Bay Phoenix on Tuesday night. Eastern's record moves to 5-9-2 this season, while Green Bay moves up to 6-7-2. The Panthers regular season ends, however the Panthers are still in contention for the fourth spot in The Summit League tournament, and will know the fate of their season on Saturday after Denver plays Purdue Fort Wayne.
Eastern struggled to take quality shots this match, only netting two shots on goal. Max Allen tied the match in the 88th minute off a rebounded shot near the post. This is Allen's second goal of the season, which is tied for second on most goals for the season with
Davi Girardi. This was a predominantly defensive match for both teams, with no score until the final five minutes. The Phoenix scored a goal in the 86th minute, which was followed by Allen's goal soon after. The two teams started overtime tied up, and in the first minute of play Green Bay managed to score the golden goal; ending the match quickly.

Jonathan Burke faced five shots, and had three saves on the match. Burke ends his regular season with 69 saves for the Panthers, which puts him in third place for goalkeepers in The Summit League. A multitude of players played the entire match for the Panthers, with coach
Kiki Lara and company substituting in two players, one of which was Allen. The Panthers end the regular season with Lara's second five win season in his tenure. The Panthers will find out if they will be invited to Denver on Saturday.
