Didn't have a chance to catch this week's EIU Panther Football Rewind this afternoon, then check out the archived broadcast below.   This week we dive into the Hit Mix 88.9 FM WEIU Radio vault and dusted off the 2001 NCAA FCS playoff shootout between Eastern Illinois and Northern Iowa.  Due to 9/11 happening earlier that season, teams were seeded geographically instead of by seed so No. 4 EIU faced No. 6 UNI in the opener.  The Panthers were led by quarterback Tony Romo.   You can listen each Saturday during the fall as every week we provide a one-hour highlighted version of a classic game from the Hit MIx archive.
