On episode 18 of EIUPanthers Podcast we take a trip down memory lane as we look back at the 1948 Corn Bowl.  On this Thanksgiving Day episode, we flash back to Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, 1948, as Eastern Illinois represented the Illinois Intercollegiate Athletic Conference against Illinois Wesleyan from the College Conference of Illinois.   The game was played in Bloomington, Illinois in front of 8,000 fans.  On today's episode we talk with Ed Buchanan a freshman on that 1948 EIU Corn Bowl team.
