PINE BLUFF, ARK. - The Panthers had another solid outing at Torii Hunter Baseball Complex. Eastern recorded nine runs on nine hits with nine RBI. The defense played well also against the Golden Lions, as they held UAPB to only two runs. The Panthers drew eight walks and stole one base.
Ben Stephens was given his first start of the season against the Golden Lions and was solid for his first outing. Stephens recorded six strikeouts in his six innings pitched.
