2020 EIU Volleyball Schedule

Sara Thomas has announced the Panthers 2020 schedule which will begin on August 28 with the EIU Panther Invitational presented by Unique Suites.
EIU will host Central Michigan and Evansville in the one day tournament in Lantz Arena.
The Panthers will then venture on the road to compete in three in-state regular season tournaments.  EIU plays at the Chicago State Windy City Invite on Sept. 4-5, Southern Illinois Saluki Bash on Sept. 11-12 and the Northern Illinois Invitational on Sept. 18-19.  A non-conference contest is sandwiched between the last two tournaments on Sept. 15 at Indiana State.
Ohio Valley Conference play will begin on the road for EIU on Sept. 24 at Southeast Missouri.  The Panthers will play additional road conference matches at UT Martin, Tennessee State, Jacksonville State, Tennessee Tech, Austin Peay, Murray State and SIUE.Â
EIU opens home OVC play in Lantz Arena on Friday, Oct. 2 against Murray State before hosting Austin Peay on homecoming evening, Oct. 3. A midweek match against SIUE on Oct. 7 rounds out a three-match homestand.
Travel partner matches against Morehead State and Eastern Kentucky (Oct. 15-16) and Southeast Missouri and UT Martin (Oct. 30-31) cap the month of October for the Panthers.
The final match of the regular season will be at home on Saturday, Nov. 14 against Belmont. The OVC Tournament is slated for Nov. 19-21 at the conference regular season champion.
