GAME 25
Eastern Illinois plays its final regular season road game on Saturday afternoon as the Panthers play at Austin Peay.  EIU is coming off a complete all-around effort on Thursday night as EIU beat Murray State, 68-59, to sweep the season series from the Racers for the first time in school history. EIU improved to 8-16 overall, 5-12 in the OVC.   EIU will play an Austin Peay team that is 3-3 in its last six games but two of the losses are by one point with two overtime set backs.  In the earlier meeting this year, APSU hit a 3-pointer as time expired to beat EIU, 74-71.   Austin Peay enters at 14-9 overall, 10-7 in the OVC.

ANOTHER BIG NIGHT BY SKIPPER-BROWN
Jordan Skipper-Brown turned in a second straight monster effort for the Panthers as he collected his second double-double of the year with 14 points and ten rebounds.  Skipper-Brown was  part of a rebounding effort that gave EIU a 25-8 rebound edge over Murray State in the first half.  The senior post player was coming off his best offensive night with a career high 21 points at Tennessee Tech.  Since returning from a three week absence in late January, he is averaging 12.1 points per game.   In addition he had four blocks against Murray State giving him 23 for the season and 55 for his career.  He ranks seventh in the OVC in total blocks.

EIU CONNECTS FROM THE FIELD
Eastern Illinois had a good shooting performance on Thursday night at Murray State as the Panthers shot 57.4 percent for the game including an efficient 64 percent from 3-point range (7-of-11).  It was the third time in the last six games that EIU has shot over 50 percent from the floor picking up wins in all three of those contests.  The Panthers best shooting night this season was 62 percent on Feb. 6 in a home win over Tennessee State.   EIU also has 50 percent shooting nights this season in OVC contests at home against Tennessee Tech and both games against SIUE.  EIU is shooting 42.7 percent for the season in all games and OVC only games.
