JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – Eastern Illinois women's tennis played with an adjusted line-up during the Panthers Ohio Valley Conference opener on Friday afternoon losing at Jacksonville State, 7-0.

Elizaveta Bukraba-Ulanova moved from her normal spot of No. 3 in the singles order to play at No. 1 on Friday afternoon as she fell in two sets to the Gamecocks top seeded player.

Freshman
Addison Brown pushed her match at No. 4 singles to three sets. Brown won the opening set 6-3 over Dariana Prato before losing 6-0 in the second. Prato then won the third set 10-3.

Freshman Ashlee Shinaberry moved in to play at No. 5 singles losing in two sets.Â

JSU opened the match winning at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles with the No. 3 doubles left unfinished with Brown and
Christine Gouws playing in that spot in the order.

EIU fell to 1-8 on the year and will host SIUE on Tuesday in OVC action.
