CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Eastern Illinois women's soccer played its third overtime match this season coming away with its third different overtime result as the Panthers finished with a 1-1 draw at Austin Peay.

Previously this season EIU had picked up a win over Morehead State in overtime and suffered a loss in overtime at Tennessee Tech. This Friday it was a draw after 110 minutes of action on the pitch.

APSU scored the first goal of the match five minutes into the second half as Morgan Drawdy scored on an assist from Tori Case.

EIU was able to respond with a goal of its own in the 71st minute as

Nicoletta Anuci who was able to direct the ball to the back of the net for the equalizer.Â

It went down as EIU's only shot on goal as the Panthers had three total shots on the day. Anuci had two and
Itxaso Aguero recorded one.

Faith Davies made her second start in net and posted the 1-1 tie with five saves.

EIU moved to 1-6-1 on the season and will host Jacksonville State on Tuesday in the Panthers final home match of the season.  APSU is now 2-5-1.
