Volleyball Season Ends With Loss At SIUE

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Eastern Illinois volleyball wrapped up its 2021 spring season on Monday evening with a 3-0 loss at SIUE.

The Cougars won 25-16, 25-16, 25-21.

EIU concluded the season at 2-14 overall with wins over Tennessee State and Murray State.

The Panthers lone senior Laurel Bailey had 11 kills in her final match for EIU finishing with a double-double with ten assists.

Kylie Michael added eight kills for EIU while Bailey Chandler passed out 27 assists.  Christina Martinez Mundo finished with 24 digs.

Sydney Hummert led SIUE with 11 kills while four Cougars had double figure digs, led by Jordyn Klein with 17.
