The Eastern Illinois football season opens up one week from today as the Panthers will play a Week Zero contest at Indiana State. Fans will have a number of ways to follow the Panthers this season both home and one the road.
Currently ten of the 11 games this season will be televised on ESPN+ beginning with the Aug. 28 game at Indiana State. The lone game not yet announced for a streaming location is the Panthers Sept. 11 contest at Dayton.
EIU will return to the airwaves this season with the Panther Radio Network. Hit Mix 88.9 FM WEIU will serve as the flagship station with coverage in Coles County and online at

The network stations this season are WTIM 870 in Taylorville with additional signal coverage in Christian County, Shelby County and Pana. WHOW 1520 in Clinton with additional signal coverage in Bloomington/Normal. WMRK 94.3 FM Genuine Country in Pana. In addition fans can listen through games on their Amazon Alexa App by saying "Alexa, play WTIM 870 AM".
Veteran broadcaster Mike Bradd returns to provide radio coverage for all games during the season and this year he will be joined in the booth by former EIU player and coach Jason Fisher for the Panthers four home games.
