Eastern Illinois volleyball wins their second match of the Panther Inivtational beating Bellarmine in five sets Saturday afternoon. EIU won in 5 (18-25, 26-24, 20-25, 25-16,15-7).
The Panthers were led by Takenya Stafford with 14 kills and 13 digs, and
Danielle Allen with 17 kills. EIU never trailed in the final set.
Bellarmine started the fifth set with 3 errors, which led to an EIU Panther run. BU was led by Jayme Scott and Seville Gates with 15 kills each.
Full game recap will be posted later at the conclusion of the tournament. EIU plays the final game of the Invitation at 7 p.m. against Chicago State.
