MARTIN, Tenn. – Eastern Illinois women's soccer played its first road match of the Ohio Valley Conference season on Thursday evening falling 4-1 at UT Martin.

The Skyhawks (6-3-1, 2-0 OVC) took the lead 1-0 at the half as Makayla Robinson found the back of the net in the 25th minute.

UTM added an insurance goal in the 60th minute as Jill Hildreth pushed the Skyhawks lead to 2-0.  UTM added its third goal of the contest two minutes late to extend the lead to 3-0.

Eastern Illinois broke through offensively in the 67th minute with
Serra Pizano scoring for the Panthers.Â
Itxaso Aguero and Kenzie Balcerek were credited with the assist on the Panthers goal.

UTM's final tally came in the final two minutes of action with Emma Elliott scoring.

UTM had 20 shots in the match, doubling up EIU's shot total of 10. Â
Nicoletta Anuci and
Eva Munoz both had two shots to lead EIU.

The Panthers (2-6-2, 0-1-1 OVC) return home on Sunday to host Murray State at Lakeside Field.Â
