Cincinnati Beats EIU Women's Soccer On Sunday Evening

Panthers with four shots during the match



CINCINNATI – Eastern Illinois wrapped up its second straight week of Friday/Sunday soccer action as the Panthers lost 5-0 at Cincinnati.

The Panthers posted a 1-1 record for the week after Friday's win over Chicago State as EIU is now 2-3-1 on the season.

Cincinnati led 3-0 at the half as Karli Royer opened the Bearcats scoring with a goal in the 23rd minute.  Vanessa DiNardo (26th minute) and Paige Miller (40th minute) capped the first half scoring for Cincinnati.

Han Tang scored both Cincinnati second half goals finding the net in the 65th and 77th minute.

EIU had four shots during the match with Kenzie Balcerak collecting two of them.  Amanda DaSilva and Michaela Danyo added the shots for the Panthers.
