EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Eastern Illinois women's soccer 2022 season came to an end on Sunday as the Panthers lost 2-0 at Southern Indiana.
 
EIU completes the season at 2-6-8 overall, 0-4-4 in the OVC.  The eight ties set a school record while the team goals against average of 0.81 is the third best in school history.
 
On Sunday Southern Indiana scored in the 38th minute with Madison Crawford finding the back of the net.  
 
The Screaming Eagles added an insurance goal early in the second half with Jill DiTusa scoring in the 48th minute.
 
EIU had five total shots in the match with three on goal.  Nicoletta Anuci had two of the three shots on goal with Avery Richardson adding the other.
 
USI finished the regular season at 5-7-4, 1-5-2 in the OVC.
