As the Ohio Valley Conference celebrates its 75th anniversary this academic year, we look back at Eastern Illinois part in that history each Tuesday
Kyle Hill was second in the NCAA in scoring at 23.8 ppg leading EIU men's basketball to the 2001 NCAA Tournament. EIU faced Arizona in the opening round.
Hill ended his career at EIU as a two-time first team All-OVC selection. He would be selected in the second round of the 2001 NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks, the only EIU basketball player drafted in the Panthers OVC era.
Hill still ranks third on the EIU career scoring list, second in career steals and fifth in career assists.
