Come Hoop In the New Year with Eastern Illinois basketball taking advantage of these ticket specials for the Ohio Valley Conference opening weekend.
 
EIU men's basketball enters the OVC season following a win over Big Ten member Iowa which ranks as the biggest upset (by point spread) in the last 30 years according to ESPN. 
 
The Panther women enter OVC play at 8-3 overall sporting the best non-conference record in the league.
 
OVC play tips off on Thursday, Dec. 29 against Lindenwood with a New Year's Eve matinee against Southern Indiana on Saturday, Dec. 31.
 
Thursday ticket specials are $5 general admission tickets which gets you a seat for both exciting games.
 
Saturday is EIU $1 Day where you can get $1 general admission tickets, $1 soda and $1 popcorn.
 
Ticket specials are at the gate for each game.
 
Thursday – Dec. 29 vs. Lindenwood
Women at 5 pm
Men at 7:30 pm
 
Saturday – Dec. 31 vs. Southern Indiana
Women at 1 pm
Men at 3:30 pm
