GAME 24
Eastern Illinois faces Tennessee Tech for the second straight game as the Panthers lost on the road on Monday night in Cookeville.   This marks the second time this season that EIU has faced the same opponent in back-to-back games.   It has not happened prior to this season since the 1967-68 season when EIU played all of its IIAC games in a back-to-back format against the same opponents.  EIU dropped to 4-19 overall, 2-8 in the OVC with the loss.  TTU improved to 6-18 overall, 3-8 in the OVC.

BOLIS WITH POINTS OFF THE BENCH
Rodolfo Bolis finished with 11 points off the bench at Tennessee Tech as the freshman post player scored in double figures for the third time this season.  Bolis was 5-of-9 from the field. It was his first double figure scoring game since a ten point night against North Park on Dec. 4.  Bolis added three rebounds in the contest including one on the offensive glass.  For the season he leads the Panthers in rebounding at 4.7 per game with a high of nine rebounds against Rockford.  He is tenth in the OVC in offensive rebounds with 39.

LANE FINISHES IN DOUBLE FIGURES AGAIN
Guard CJ Lane finished in double figures for the second straight game as he scored 14 points off the bench.  It marked the fourth time in OVC play this season that Lane has scored in double figures with a high of 20 points in the league opener at Morehead State. Lane has seven double figure scoring games for the season.  Lane scored five of his 14 points at the free throw line as he was 5-of-5 at the stripe.  He has now hit nine straight free throws and made 20 of his last 22.  For the season Lane is shooting 73.1 percent on free throws.
