Eastern Illinois women's soccer coach
Jake Plant has completed his roster for the 2022 season with the addition of defender Esperanza (Espi) Logan.

Logan (5'9") is an outside back from Los Alamitos HS in California where she played for coach Pat Rossi. Logan also plays club for coach Ziad Khoury with FC HB Koge in the ECNL.

As a prep athlete she helped lead her school to four straight Sunset League Championships earning first team All-Conference honors in 2021 and 2022. The team was a CIF State Semifinalist during her senior season after making it to the CIF State Finals during her freshman campaign. She twice earned the Scholar-Athlete Award.Â

At the club level she was a member of three ECNL Southwest Conference League Championship teams with the team reaching the ECNL National Championships in 2021. She is an ODP participant for the CalSouth State Team and was a member of the 2019 West Region ODP Championship team.Â

In 2022 Logan was a Toluca Camp Invitee for the Mexico U-20 National Team.Â
