Eastern Illinois head football coach
Chris Wilkerson has announced the addition of several football support staff members including the hiring of
Caleb Selk as the Panthers Director of Football Operations.

Selk joined the Panthers staff on June 1 after working the past two seasons as an assistant baseball coach at both McKendree University and Greenville University. He has operations experience as a camp director with the Illinois Baseball Academy and in several positions in the Chicago Bears organization.Â

Nicole Jackson will serve as the Panthers Director of Academic Services for football having joined the staff in the late spring.
Â
Wilkerson announced the Panthers three graduate assistants for next season along with the quality control and student assistant coaches for 2022.

Cole Hoover will work as the GA for offense while
Andrew Brady will work as the GA for defense. Reid Littleford will serve as the GA for football operations.

EIU's quality control personnel include
Peyton Naylon for recruiting,
Tim Greene for special teams & video,
Beau Snuggs for defense and
Jackson King for offense.

EIU's student assistant coaches for the fall will be Ryan Shepherd and
Cam Mattox on defense with
Matt Judd and
Rob Sutton assisting on offense.

EIU opens the 2022 season on Thursday, Sept. 1 at Northern Illinois. The home opener is Saturday, Sept. 10 against Chattanooga. Season ticket sales and renewals for the upcoming season will begin online on Monday, June 15.Â
