As the Ohio Valley Conference celebrates its 75th anniversary this academic year, we look back at Eastern Illinois Panthers part in that history each Tuesday

The EIU Football team won the 2001 OVC Championship with 8 players earning 1st team All-OVC honors

Bob Spoo named the OVC Coach of the Year while Tony Romo won his second straight OVC Offensive Player of the Year Award.

EIU posted a 9-2 record including a 6-0 record in the OVC.
