GAME 12
Eastern Illinois wraps up its four-game homestand on Sunday hosting Blackburn College as the Panthers look to move back to the .500 mark for the season.Ā  Ā EIU is 5-6 on the year following a home loss last Sunday to Central Arkansas which snapped EIU's four-game home win streak.Ā  After the home game with Blackburn, EIU will play on Dec. 21 at Iowa State to wrap-up non-conference play.Ā  Ohio Valley Conference play will begin on the road for EIU with a Dec. 29 game at SIUE followed by road games at UT Martin and Little Rock.Ā  Blackburn College enters at 4-5 on the season following a season sweep over Eureka College with their midweek win.

SHELTON OVER 20 POINTS AGAIN
Nakyel Shelton had his fifth double figure scoring game of the season on Sunday finishing with 22 points against Central Arkansas, the third time this season the junior guard has eclipsed the 20-point mark in a game.Ā  He also had 22 points at Illinois State and 21 against Miami (Ohio).Ā  Shelton now leads the Panthers in scoring for the season at 11.3 points per game which ranks 20th in the OVC this season.Ā  He was 8-of-13 from the field and 5-of-5 from the foul line against Central Arkansas.Ā  He has eight made field goals in each of his 20-point games this season.Ā

SAWYER WITH BACK-TO-BACK DOUBLE FIGURE GAMES
Corey Sawyer Jr came off the bench last week with 15 points in the win over IUPUI going 6-of-10 from the field.Ā  On Sunday against Central Arkansas he again provided a scoring spark off the bench as the junior college transfer finished with 13 points for his second straight double figure scoring game.Ā  He added three assists and two steals as he has three games with three or more assists this season and two straight games with two steals.Ā  Sawyer is averaging 7.1 points per game and currently ranks as the Panthers top point producer off the bench.Ā
