The Lindenwood University women's basketball game scheduled for February 2 against Eastern Illinois has been canceled and will not be made up due to the Lindenwood team not having enough available players.
Per Conference policy, for purposes of the league standings and tiebreakers, the games will count as a forfeit. Lindenwood will receive a loss, while Eastern Illinois will be credited with a victory in the league standings.
Per NCAA policy, for the purposes of record keeping (team overall record, coach record, statistics, etc.) the game is considered a no-contest.
Due to the cancelation, start time for the men's game on Thursday evening between EIU and Lindenwood has been moved up to a 7 p.m. start.

With the win EIU women's basketball improves to 11-0 in the OVC matching their best start to an OVC season in program history tying the 11-0 start to the 2011-12 season. The Panthers return to action on Saturday hosting Tennessee State at 1 p.m. for the annual CARE Game.Â
