DANVILLE, Ill. – A Saturday sweep for Eastern Illinois women's tennis as the Panthers improved to 3-3 on the season beating both Olivet Nazarene and St. Francis (Ill.) by scores of 7-0 at the Danville Tennis Center.

EIU 7, Olivet Nazarene 0
Eastern Illinois women's tennis beat Olivet Nazarene in the first of two matches for the Panthers on Saturday at the Danville Tennis Center.
EIU swept the match 7-0 winning all three doubles contests and all six singles matches.
Five of the six singles matches were clinched in two sets withÂ
Jemma Booth playing at No. 3 singles needing three sets to win over Natasha Nieto – 2-6, 6-1, 10-6.
The Panthers were dominant by winning all three doubles matches by scores of 6-2 (No. 1), 6-1 (No. 2) and 6-0 at No. 3 doubles with Booth and
Lauren Ellis.

Ellis, playing at No. 6 singles, and
Brittany Steven at No. 5 singles both blanked their opponents by scores of 6-0, 6-0.

EIU 7, St. Francis 0
The second victory of the day for EIU was a little harder to come by but still finished with the same 7-0 score for the Panthers

EIU won all three matches in doubles play with
Madeline Monroy and Steven clinching the point with a  6-3 win at No. 2 doubles.

In singles
Christine Gouws picked up the second point of the match winning 6-1, 7-5 at No. 1 singles.Â

The match was clinched with Booth's three set win at No. 3 singles over Gabriella Noa winning by a score of 6-3, 4-6, 6-2.

EIU added three set wins by
Elizaveta Bukraba-Ulanova at No. 2 singles and Monroy at No.4 singles.

Steven and Ellis again had clean sweeps in their singles matches at No. 5 and No. 6 with both winning by 6-0, 6-0 scores.Â
