As the Ohio Valley Conference celebrates its 75th anniversary this academic year, we look back at Eastern Illinois part in that history each Tuesday.

CJ Weber from EIU men's tennis was the 2004 OVC Player of the Year while earning Academic All-America and OVC Scholar-Athlete honors.  Weber was a three-time first-team All-OVC selection on the court.  He would finish his career second in singles wins despite missing one season due to injury.  He set the EIU single season record for singles wins.  

He would go on to earn both OVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors as well as Academic All-America honors.
