NORMAL, Ill. - Eastern Illinois baseball has canceled two game this weekend that were scheduled at Illinois State in Normal, Ill. The Panthers planned a three-game series this weekend but has been adjusted due to weather.
The Sunday game is still scheduled for 1:00 p.m. CT. This will marked the third EIU game this season that has been canceled due to weather.
EIU is currently 10-4 overall this season with all games being played on the road. Sunday's game will mark their 15th straight away game of the season.
After this weekend, the Panthers will play an away game at Bellarmine on Tuesday before returning home for their first game at Coaches Stadium on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. vs. Roosevelt. EIU will then host UT Matin next weekend for their first Ohio Valley Conference games.
