Eastern Illinois women's soccer will play 11 home matches this season at Lakeside Field as first-year head coach Dirk Bennett released the Panthers complete 2023 schedule today (June 20) as the Ohio Valley Conference announced its conference slate including new member Western Illinois.
 
The Panthers will face their in-state rivals and newest confernece member on the road as one of five conference road matches.
 
The home schedule opens with three straight home exhibition matches against Parkland College, IUPUI and UIC.
 
The season opener is on the road at Valparaiso on Aug. 17 before the home opener on Aug. 20 against Illinois Springfield.  EIU will also host non-conference matches against Indiana State (Aug. 27), Illinois State (Sept. 7) and Chicago State (Sept. 10).
 
The road portion of EIU's non-conference schedule includes visits to Northern Illinois and Purdue Fort Wayne.
 
Ohio Valley Conference play will open at home for the Panthers with a match against SIUE on Sept. 21.  Additional home OVC matches include Morehead State (Sept. 28), Little Rock (Oct. 15) and Southern Indiana (Oct. 22).
 
EIU's conference road schedule will take them to play at Southeast Missouri, Tennessee Tech, UT Martin, Western Illinois and Lindenwood.
 
The OVC Tournament is schedled to begin at campus sites on Oct. 27.
