Eastern Illinois football season tickets are now on sale.   Season tickets can purchased for $75 with a discounted rate for EIU faculty and staff.
 
The EIU 2023 schedule features five home games with the home opener on Sept. 16 against Illinois State in the Mid-America Classic. 
 
EIU will also host McNeese on Sept. 23 for Family Weekend followed by UT Martin on Oct. 7 for Homecoming.
 
This year EIU will play as a member of the Big South-OVC Football Association with combines the six football playing members of the OVC with the four football playing members of the Big South.
 
The Panthers have two cross-over games against Big South teams hosting Bryant on Oct. 21 for the Hall of Fame Game.  EIU ends the season at Big South member Robert Morris on Nov. 18.
 
EIU's final home game is Nov. 11 against Tennessee State.
 
The season opener is August 31 at Indiana State.  Additional road games are at Bowling Green on Sept. 9, Northwestern State on Sept. 30, Southeast Missouri on Oct. 14 and Lindenwood on Nov. 4.
 
Single game tickets and tailgate squares will go on sale on August 1.
