Chris Wilkerson has announced several internal promotions within the Panthers coaching staff including all three coordinator positions.

The Panthers are coming off an 8-3 season and were ranked No. 24 in the final AFCA FCS Coaches Top 25 poll.

Kyle Derickson will remain as the Panthers Associate Head Coach but will take over duties as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks coach.  Derickson enters his third season on the EIU staff having served as the Special Teams Coordinator and wide receivers coach the last two years.

Collin Geier will move into the role of Defensive Coordinator as he enters his third season on Wilkerson's staff and his fifth overall season at EIU after coaching on the staff in 2019 and 2020 before one season as a defensive analyst in Arkansas in 2021. He will also continue to coach the inside linebackers group.

Andrew Brady moves into the role of Special Teams Coordinator entering his second full-time season on the EIU staff and third overall year with the Panthers. He will also continue to coach the outside linebackers group.

Maurice Fleming enters his second year coaching corners at EIU and adds Defensive Pass Game Coordinator duties.

John Cannova enters his third season coaching the Panthers offensive line adding Offensive Run Game Coordinator duties.

Turner Pugh will continue to coach running backs for EIU while serving as the Recruiting Coordinator and
Jordan Walsh returns as the Panthers tight ends coach.
