GAME 27
Eastern Illinois hosts Lindenwood for the Panthers senior day as the Panthers are coming off an impressive Thursday night win over Southeast Missouri.   EIU remains locked in sole possession of seventh place in the OVC standings as the top eight teams make the end of season tournament in Evansville.  EIU improved to 12-14 overall, 6-7 in the OVC.   The Panthers currently have a two-game lead in the standings over Southern Indiana which sits in eighth spot.   One of the teams near the bottom of the league standings fighting to climb into the top eight is Lindenwood which enters at 8-18 overall, 2-11 in the OVC.  The Lions have lost four straight following a Thursday night loss to SIUE.

DAVIS NETS A CAREER HIGH
Kyndall Davis continues to fill up the basket over the last three games as he scored 26 points in Thursday's win over Southeast Missouri.   It was the third 20-point game this season for Davis and passes his previous career high of 23 set in the OVC opener at SIUE.  Davis just missed posting his third consecutive double-double falling just short with nine rebounds.  Over the last three games Davis is averaging 21.7 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.  The junior wing also had two steals as he has at least one steal in 13 straight games ranking sixth in the OVC in steals with 37.

SENIOR DAY FOR EIU BASKETBALL
Eastern Illinois will recognize four senior players and one senior basketball manager on Saturday prior to the game with Lindenwood.   Dan Luers, Jermaine Hamlin, Caleb Donaldson and Tiger Booker are the players set to be honored along with senior manager Carlos Cortez.  Luers and Hamlin have been three year members of the team while Donaldson joined the Panthers last season and missed nearly all this year with injury.  Booker is playing his lone season with the Panthers this year.

PANTHERS SHOOT 50 PERCENT FROM THE FIELD
Eastern Illinois shot 51.5 percent from the field in the second half as the Panthers finished Thursday night's game shooting 50 percent from the field.  It marked the sixth game this season that EIU has shot 50 percent or better for a game. The best shooting game this season was 59.4 percent in the non-conference home win over Blackburn College.  EIU's best OVC shooting performance this season was on the road connecting for 51.6 percent winning at Little Rock.  Five of the Panthers six 50-percent shooting games have come this season at Groniger Arena.
