The Eastern Illinois women's tennis team lost its second match of a three-match weekend falling 7-0 on Saturday morning at Northern Illinois. EIU is scheduled to wrap up weekend action on Sunday at Western Kentucky.
NIU won the doubles point winning at No. 1 and No. 3 with No. 2 doubles match left unfinished. Aleya Wooten and
Luisa Renovales Salazar competed at No. 2 doubles and were trailing 5-3 when the Huskies cinched the overall doubles point.
Addison Brown played at No. 1 singles for EIU falling in two sets to Diana Lukyanova, 6-1, 7-5.
Michelle Kostadinova returned to the Panthers singles line-up playing at No. 4 singles and falling in two sets, 6-2, 6-2.
Wooten played at No. 4 singles losing 6-2, 6-4 to Reagan Welch.
